Where did the idea for Kudos Coins come from?
Kudos Coins founder, Yonas Yanfa, loved free content on the web. But he noticed that something was missing. There was no simple way to send an online thank-you message, along with payment, to those who have earned it. It was impossible to show appreciation to content authors for their contributions, or to inspire them to keep working. Yonas decided to build a system to correct this oversight, and after some brainstorming and research, he came up with an idea.
The culmination of Yonas' vision, Kudos Coins, was born in March 2009. The idea is simple as well as revolutionary. The sender gives Kudos Coins to the receiver as a way of saying "thank you." The receiver knows that he/she is appreciated. In other words:

About the Founder
Yonas Yanfa was born in Canada and now resides in Toronto. He graduated from the University of Waterloo, Ontario in June 2009, with a major in computer science (honors/COO-OP) and a minor in business.
